Clinical Staff
Steven E. Carnahan, CSCS
Steven is a graduate of The University of Louisiana at Lafayette with a Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Science. He has been a part of OSPT for over 10 years where, along with managing our clinical staff, he directs the research and development of programs that are found to be beneficial to the community. Steven is continually working to further his knowledge of the fitness and rehabilitation industry. He is Certified as a Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the NSCA, Certified in Worksaver Program Pre-Placement Screenings, and is the only Certified Sportsmetrics Instructor in Southwest Louisiana. steven@ospt.net
Amy Doucet - Exercise Specialist
Amy is a recent graduate of the University of Louisiana at Lafayette with a Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Science. She was a 4 year letterman in track and field where she competed in Javelin. Amy supervises the therapeutic exercise routines of our patients, along with administering therapeutic modalities. She is certified in the Worksaver Program, where she assists in administering pre placement screenings for new hires and return to work applicants. Amy plans to further her education and career by pursuing her Doctorate in Physical Therapy and become a licenced Physical Therapist.
Ryan Judice, Amber Hardy - Exercise Specialist Interns
At OSPT, we beleive that one of the best ways to improve as a clinic is to teach. That is why we employ students who are studying to become Physical Therapists. These students are highly motivated, responsible, driven young adults who we believe can be an asset to our clinic and to the field of physical therapy.
Administrative Staff
Stephanie Heikamp, Office Manager/Billing Specialist
Stephanie has been an integral part of OSPT for over 7 years. Stephanie supervises the functions of the accounting department, along with communication between the adminsitrative and clinical departments. Stephanie's main responsiblities are to manage patient accounts, patient billing, and accounts receivable and payables. stephanie@ospt.net
Christina Broussard, Outtake Coordinator/Billing Specialist
Christina received her degree in Sports Medicine from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, along with her Associate's Degree in Medical Assisting. Christina has been a part of OSPT for over 8 years. After working as an Exercise Specialist in our clinical department, Christina has taken a role in our accounting department. Christina assists in schedule and authorization management, along with quality assurance. She manages medical records, and all records dealing with pre-employment screenings. christina@ospt.net
Cassie Romein, Intake Coordinator
Cassie is our newest addition to the OSPT staff, bringing with her an extensive administrative background. Her drive and ability to multitask makes her a great fit. Cassie's main role at OSPT is greeting our patients and guests with a smiling face and a great attitude, along with appointment scheduling and insurance authorizaiton.
